forgive but not forget.
perhaps not think of what ever it is all the time but not forget.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could?
I usually choose to forgive, on the basis that I don't want to invest any more time in whatever happened. But I don't forget. That way I learn.

I can't figure out why I should be expected to forgive things that people did that were crappy. Even Jesus wants you to ASK for forgiveness! Why should I be tossing around my forgiveness when people don't even ask. This whole concept is just some happy-fluffy-feel-good BS that really makes no sense at all. FORGET? I will forget nothing. I tried that before... I just got myself shat upon a second... and third time doing that. Don't suggest it at all.
