Forgive me for hopping on my soapbox. The US suffers a tragedy. So many young lives lost.

No gun law would have stopped a deranged killer.I say arm the police or teachers.I say the police in our schools is a start.I find it hard to believe that congressman that voted billions for banks in the 2008 stock-market crash say police in our schools are too costly.Hell exists for just a purpose.

I agree with you also. The problem is there is no such thing as common sense in the congress.

Usually only 2 or 3 SRO's. Is it enough?

I don't know. Have you ever noticed that problems like these happened dramatically less often in the recent past? The schools have been fine for long time before any of this was an issue. The real problem, and probably solution lay elsewhere.

The overall crime rate in the US has been on a downward trend for some years now, and it has been doing so through a great variety of different gun laws. It seems that the number of guns is, at best, tangentially related. Incidentally, this applies to movies, TV, and violent video games as well. Same thing, crime goes lower and lower whether they are present or not.

i cannot forgive you for whatever reason you need forgiveness
the government wants these tragedies to happen to allow public places to be gun free and to breed hate and fear puts the government in complicity as an accomplice in these crimes. no deranged gunman has gone into a secure place with armed guards and started shooting have they? no they choose where the most unarmed people would possibly be so if we make stricter gun laws then there will be more places to hunt.

I agree gun laws won't solve anything, hell California has the strictest gun laws in the country and murder still happens daily. Congress has their heads up their collective assessment and care nothing for the needs of this country.

On another note, you know how when other countries have disasters, hati, Japan, ect. We donate millions and more in resources, but when America has something happen, like sandy for instance NOBODY gives a ****, nobody offers to help, nothing, zilch, Nada.
So I say we stop spending so much on foreign countries and use that money to better our own. Update our failing power grid, fix the interstates ect. Start pulling money from congresses pocket and pay for more important things.

Increasing security in schools would reduce the incidences of child killings. if your objective is to disarm the populace you want to create an environment where mass killings of Children will take place. So as to get people so traumatized and fearful that they will demand that their government disarm them.

So the last thing you would want to do is increase security and put the madmen in asylums. You got to release all the crazies and get them to go on killing. Then wait for the shell-shocked population who have been appropriately prepped by the mass media that your elite buddies control to demand you disarm them.

Everything’s going to plan peoples. They may need to organise a few more massacres but eventually they will get the population to force the change that the elites have wanted all along.
