Rolling pin, if you miss with a frying pan it's quite a large weight to swing around for a second shot.

Frying pan. Makes a more resounding "CLAP"!

LOL. No. I've used a pan to pop someone on the backside, but it's was teasing. That's how I know it makes a satisfying sound. The rest I just leave for fantasy, when I'm really ticked off. ;)
