He thinks that if a woman gets raped, she can shut down her natural bodily functions. He also said.... 'I'm an insensitive *****, with absolutely no clue about reality. I just wanted to say this, so people realize the type of jack-offs that get elected into our political system. Who wants to marry me? I'd make a great husband'

The only thing I can think out about what 'legitimate rape' could mean, is that we all are f***ed in arse from our governments and yes, no one gets pregnant from that

These are the same people who think Adam and Eve were riding dinosaurs in the Garden of Eden and that people actually had life spans of several hundred years. What do you expect from them?

A prime example that ignorance has no bounds, and that some will agree with this is a secondary example.

That is pure ignorance. Rape victims do get pregnant, but educated people know that women can only get pregnant just for a brief period of time, every month. Not all women have regular cycles, and not all women ovulate every single month. When other tribes in other countries have raped other tribes' women, it was for the purpose of impregnating them, so that their offstring would contain their sperms, and not ones of their own tribe. Raping women was not just used to humiliate and degrade the women.

First of all..........Who are you trying to kid with your link?....YOU cite the website with "WAR ON WOMEN"....What do you think that's going to say? - THAT's #1

#2 - You're not lQQKING for "answers" but rather support for you pals, the NOW organization and the other Bamadrones...I through you like glass. The other people here don't but, I do....

#3 Here is his QUOTE: "First of all, from what I understand from doctors [pregnancy after rape] is really rare," Akin told KTVI-TV in defense of his stand that rape victims should not be allowed to access abortions. "If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down."

Akin said that even if a rape victim does somehow become pregnant, "I think there should be some punishment, but the punishment ought to be on the rapist and not attacking the child."

#4 What YOU posted was PART of the Story, like listening to 1/2 of a phone call and thinking you know what the whole conversation was about.....Its what liberals like you do, and HOW THE LEFT WORKS.

#5 He, the SENATOR was QUOTING what a DOCTOR told him and in the matter of his words, they didn't come out the way he hoped and has since apologized....Clearing up when he meant or how he should have said it....

Nice try....You have a lot of support from the LIBERALS on HERE but that's only because LIBERALS are Stupid.....Clearly, VERY Stupid and Spiteful...

The words he stated didn't come out as intented and corrected himself.....If your going to POST, the POST the whole stoy JACK@SS

LMAO. Although your rant is typical it is also totally without merit. I proposed a question on EP and stated facts. Fact is he is a senator. Had a teacher from New York stated the same my question would have started out with 'Teacher from NY'. Like many posters here that would agree, you show your lack of intelligence with this rant and then by supporting this inane ideology regarding a vicious attack on women. Read the story! This SENATOR is also against abortion of any kind even in the case of rape! But, in his words you can't get pregnant from being legitimately rape, so how can you campaign for an action that doesn't exist, eh? Lastly, let me note the name calling, typical thing for a GOP when you haven't a point or clue. You get your point across intelligently (long stretch for you, I know) and more accurately when you form your thoughts to be reasonable, factual, and articulate without the use of name calling and profanity. I'm sure you will respond with yet another rant, but then.....you would prove my point wouldn't you?

I had you pegged from "GO"....You weren't looking for amswers...or confused...you're a BAMADRONE....and wanted to help gain support... Nice try! Obama doesn't have a chance.....YOU KNOW IT and I know it but most of all he knows it.... *HACK SPIT* Have a nice day ! PS: ABORTION is MURDER....There's no gray area...there

Statistically it's about 5%. According to medical reports, the incidence of pregnancy for one-time unprotected sexual intercourse is 5% according to the National Rape Abuse ****** Network (helps people deal with such assaults). Applied to rape victims, it could be around 7% or lower than 5%. So I would say he was not too far off.

Akin isn't a senator. He's in the House. Big difference between the calibur of elected official from the Senate to the House.
