Have to say that women rock when it comes to illness you just soldier on through but us men for the most are terrible (I am lol) , pain, sickness & me do not bode well for those around me lol..
Women are built differently as to be able to withstand pain & illness much better than us mere humans.Had real flu once back in 1981 & it was grim had man flu several times couch splutter cough lol...

Maybe it's because often times society dictates that men are to be strong when it comes to work and life, but when illness strikes, they like the nurturing and are exhausted? Nonetheless, women often do not have a choice as to whether they can rest from illness as we know others depend upon us. However, we too still like TLC.

This is an individual thing. The sickest I have ever been I still went to work and continued to live in a tool shed without electricity.

It was ok...except for the hallucinations, but even those were ok. I was living there for the adventure of it.

I'm not allowed to answer this question.
    It's gender-biased.

I don't think men are babies when they get sick. I mean it depends on the person whether man or woman.

I think sometimes regardless of male or female, people just want a little attention to know someone cares.

yeah to some people. I know that. I have a best friend who is a girl who keeps trying to text me just to let me know she is sick...of course that depends in their personality...really...I grew up in a family who doesn't care if you have a fever and push me to school to take an exam...after that...when I get sick...I keep quiet about it.
