If people held politicians to any moral standard whatsoever, we wouldn't have politicians. Which, of course seems like a win win to me! <br />

There is no such thing as the perfect candidate. You can only vote for the candidate whose ideals run closest to your own. Just because many of his supporters are Christians doesn't mean they are hypocrites for supporting an imperfect man. Let's not forget how many Kennedys went to church.

Yes, we've all sinned, but I would wager that the overwhelming majority of us have not dumped(and cheated on) not 1, but 2 wives, while they were seriously ill. I would also bet that none of us has been forced to resign our office because of unethical behavior(okay, maybe a few of us have). Lastly, not one of us cheated, then married the mistress(es), and decided to run for the highest office in the land. Im a firm believer in when someone shows you who they are...believe them! Newt does not have the moral capacity to lead our country. As a Democrat, I certainly hope that newt wins the gop nomination....or Mitt. Or Santorum...or anyone else they decide to put up. Thats quite a motley crew on the gop side.
