Well, I like surprises and generally being outdoors. If you are sure she'd say yes what about proposing in a public place with lots of people. Doing something fun. Like at a circus,carnival, flash mob.
oh if you can at the end of a romantic movie in the theater have the last slide say,Blank blank will you marry me, get on one knee and a spotlight going. That would be cute and definitely different. Just make it seem like a regular date, or even get her upset before the movie, when you do that it would be a total surprise.

My idea is taking her too this carnival we go to every year and on top of the feris wheel is where we first said i love you. I was thinking about asking the guy to stop it when we got to the top and i was going to propose, but does a carnival take the shine off it a bit?

Well, she is definitely going to know you will be proposing. Haha you should mess with her mind all week if you do the carnival thing. Like take her to dinner get on one knee by the table and tie your shoes. lol Take her to taco bell or something, look her in the eyes and tell her you have been waiting for this day for so long, reach in your pocket and pull out a ketchup packet. I believe if you propose on the ferris wheel it will still be a surprise and the shine is brighter because she would think oh his shoe lace must be untied again no need to pump my self up. False alarm.lol.

I had us take a horse drawn carriage to the water front in San Diego, got on one knee and that was that.
