No worries. My daughter fell in love with a gay guy (who was her best friend) when she was 18 years old. She knew he was gay, and he knew she was in love with him. They worked it out, and now 30 years later, he is still her best friend, and still with the guy he was with when she was so in love with him. You just have to live with it for a while and keep him as a friend. Don't lose that.
If you can bear it, you might want to spend MORE time with him, meeting the guys he dates, etc, really understanding that this is who he IS, and a romance is not going to happen. I've known women who have done this to work through feelings for gay friends.
Ask him if there is a chance that you can.. straighten him out:|
not likely, and the question might wreck the friendship, seriously---
ya.. it was ment as a way to laugh:)
As in gay? Oww. That will be really hard. But, just think that you're not the one that he needs. Stay as a good friend to him.
