Gone are those precious days when my Sons&i would sit&watch the likes of Bambi&Junglebook,snuggled up all?

Wow, I just got teary thinking about it. I must have watched The Little Mermaid a hundred times with my son. I'd read books to him and do the silly voices, too. We'd go to the park and make up games, and at the end of the day we'd climb to the top of the slide and admire the sunset. Now he's 20, and although he's a good, sweet boy, he doesn't want hugs and kisses from mom anymore.

Silly song days where we would turn everything into a song. This really got their imaginations going!

I worked at night at The Associated Press when going to law school, and my kids would come down to the bureau with me and spend hours going through the AP wirephotos that were radioed in to the news room 24/7.

My mother in law went to church with us and decided to wear her brand new coat. She was three pews back and holding my son who took the mother of all dumps onto her lap. It blew out of his butt with hurricane force, blasted out of all corners of his diaper, and oozed out of his shorts and drenched her new coat.
The best part is that it was a major case of explosive diarrhea she caused by feeding him to many grapes the evening before.
She had crap flowing out of his clothes, runny crap dripping off her new coat and she held it all in place with crap drenched hands.

Other than that I enjoyed walks, building snow forts,
climbing trees, catching bugs, frogs, and snakes, telling stupid stories, Halloween, and all the things my parents never did with me.

Now my kids are following my lead with their kids and doing most of the same things.
