Government progress? Isn't this an oxymoron?

The Reagan revolution has succeeded, most Americans now think of government as the source of their problems instead of an entity which can deal with problems. I'll never understand the logic of voting for politicians that seemingly hate government and is convinced that government is completely corrupt and useless. Vote for people who make this their mantra and you will have a self-fulfilling prophecy on your hands.

"Government messes everything up! Elect me and I'll prove it!"

Absolutely, the Government needs to get out of it's citizens lives and stay out of the way. It never solves more problems than it creates.

well if the opposite of 'pro' is 'con' then the opposite of 'progress' must be 'congress'...

the federal government owns the land and the people. remember what JFK said: 'ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country"

the masses are to serve their lord, the government.
