Guns to have or have not?

Ladies your alone its late husband is at work someone breaks in your home you hear the person(s) walking down the hallway coming closer to your room. What would you do? Shoot or what?

Once you have been raped pulling the trigger becomes a whole lot easier if you meant me no harm you would not have broke in to start with right...self defense I would shoot...
