He never wanted a child in the first place. Unfortunately our society gives men no protection against having children against their will. Even worse men are taught that they somehow have a responsibility to take care of children they never intended to have in the first place. The terrible price of gender roles is taken silently every day on uncounted millions of people. The sooner society wakes up, the better.

Leave and figure out how to get child support.

This is normal for most young men who get chicks pregnant. Do you need to have a loser around just because his is your child's father. Why not get the a-hole to sign away all of his legal bonds to your child, so you can have a better life.

If he won't talk to you then you have to decide what's best for you.... You certainly don't need to be putting yourself through stress at this time as it unhealthy for both you and the child.

Best Answer

Well his mother needs to talk to him about this situation. It would be good if you could all meet to discuss the way forward..

Should take him to court for child support. He might say he doesn't care .. but he can be made to care about supporting the child! It's a child's right to be supported by both parents ... not an optional thing for someone who is too immature to do what's right.<br />

You should go and do what's best for your child!
