HEY!!! How can I mix Joan Jett's and David Bowies style together?

Hey I am 13 years old and I love glam rock and rock and roll and I just wanted to know how I could mix Joan's and Bowie's look together.. I really love music from the 70's and 80's also since school is starting on Monday I planned on tucking my shirt in and wearing a tie or I would just replace the tie because it is orange and it won't match everything but David Bowie's style is somewhat miss matched should I do that? Also to add in Joan's style I might just tie a camo 12 inch scarf around my neck or belt loops on the pants. By the way I am a girl...Please help me out!!

    I listen to Joan Jett's sense I was little but have no sweet clue who David Bowies is.
