HOW TO HANDLE LEGAL MATTERS AND MAKE SURE I DONT LOSE THE HOUSE?
IF MY MOTHER DIES

Best Answer
Talk to an attorney that handles Estate Planning. Whatever you do, don't buy the house from her before she dies.
Does your mother have a will? She needs one. So do you. So do I.

We all need a will. My great grandmother got alzheimers 5 years before she died and if she ever wrote a will, my great grandfather destroyed it. He allowed the neighbors to steal her things and he took everything else she had. My grandmother got nothing to remember her mother by. Our entire family got screwed. She didn't have a lot of money but, she had a beautiful house that was in our family for 30 years and also worth $1.25 million. My Great Grandfather died a few years later but, he knew it was coming. He blew al his money and the home's equity on some 40 year old gold digging *****.

Talk to a lawyer! Most lawyers give a free consultation, and if i were you I would make an appointment for one.
