the term 'retard' is commonly used in society, not referring to disabled people, but to people who are less intelligent than the disabled. Or in your case, the kids and adults with brain functioning issues. This is obviously not aimed at your children, I also grew up with a few 'disabled' people in my life. I'm so happy for your children's intelligent levels and apologise for any inconvenience. But at the end of the day this is a social site. No one doubted your children's intelligence, or specifically aimed this at you so you really shouldn't take it to heart.
