Access to overcrowded and understaffed courts means expensive attorneys have become "gatekeepers".
The cost and delay of defending or prosecuting a case means that only the wealthy get real justice.
That's the definition of corruption.
In many respects all of the courts in the USA are better than they once were because of new technology and advances in medical diagnosis. However, the federal courts and those of some states have become political, some districts more than others. When the judges are more interested in realizing an agenda rather than interpreting laws against new circumstances and precedent, then they are corrupt.
become corrupt??? I dont understand...was there a time when it wasn't?
of course it is , sentences are not stiff enough , our legal system stinks , we need death penalty
