Has anybody heard of?

taking bee pollen for seasonal allergies?

I read an article in a health magazine that said it would help....my son has been taking it and it does seem to ease his symptoms although they are not completely gone.

really, you should try taking honey made locally, as it is made with the local pollen that you will be allergic to and will help you build up a tolerance(it might make you feel worse at first)

same thing as it is made with the pollen, but i do not know about taking pollen...and honey tastes good and can be eaten plain or added onto some other food(might be hard to find locally made honey, but it really does work to build tolerance)

no, but who knows? if you're not allergic to bees, it will either make you better or worse. i'd consult an allergist if i were you. my SIL is an allergist. i'll try to get a hold of him and ask him for you. pm me tomorrow or Sunday, OK?

Well, I have heard it helps other auto immune things, like arthritis... so why not?

My brother has allergies that can kill him in about a minute, and what Bukoden said is what they told my brother when he started resistance treatment... It has to be local area honey to provide the necessary pollens to build the resistance...
