sure, i like it. it's a way of meditating, just relaxing and letting your mind go blank.
unfortunately, it's also the same thing that happens when i try to concentrate really hard.

bet you call TRYING to meditate "meditation". The state you achieved is the goal, not the means to it. Savor it! And congrats. Many strive, few attain.
The fact you are in that state immediately following sleep is good and confirmation. Meditation is like waking sleep and can come with or without "dreams", i.e., visions. Keep it up.
I wish it was like that for me.
I try to do that as often as possible.
