Has anyone ever attended a Spiritual Retreat?

i've been in several sweat lodges and found my spirit animal. i have been on astral journeys and found myself to be part of everything around me.

   Yes. With a sisterhood in Radlett Hertfordshire England.
   One had the chance to be together or to be private. A great and VERY loving lot! Take care!

   I have attended one to discern my charisms, or spiritual gifts.
   One to discern my vocation to the sisterhood.

   Yes. In high school (Catholic) we had a retreat called Kairos, meaning God's time. It was a wonderful experience, full of emotion.
   I recommend anyone that gets a chance to go to a spiritual retreat go for it. I do not consider myself catholic, and I still had a good time there.
   I can't divulge too many details. It's frowned upon, since it takes some of the initial experience away from new-comers.

   I would love to go to one, there is one called the christalus.
   I cant spell it. But each person that went through it, came back changed. I mean really changed.
