Has anyone ever drove in maryland? what is the traffic like?

Well like I live in the country in maryland and the traffic on the Highway is good..But when i go to the city..and visit family(baltimore city) its like holy hell people drive like idiots..
When i have driven in other states i feel like they drive better..like Delaware and North Carolina

I've travel through MD a few times a year to visit relatives in NC. I'm guessing you'll be coming in from the west, probably via I-81 to I-64 or I-66. Those routes are fairly clear, easy driving. (So much so, that I must set cruise control or risk getting a speeding ticket.)

The north/south route involving I-95 is a bit more congested, but the place you're visiting is southeast of Baltimore, so you should be able to avoid most of the traffic hassles.

I'm not familiar with the Maryland shore, but it does look like BelAlton is in an area where there might be a lot of tourist traffic in the summer.. not much you can do about that though :-)
