Resolved Question

Has anyone ever experienced a urinary tract infection, without actually having one?

let me explain.. I get frequent bouts of sytoms that are much like having a bladder infection or UTI. I feel I have to pee all the time and I have a feeling of, my bladder being full or irritated. Sometimes it turns out that I do have a UTI, when I go to the hospital, but most often I don't and in a few days it goes away on it's own. I have been tested by a Urologist and all my tests came back OK. I thought maybe I had Interstitial Cystitist, but that came back negative too. The symtoms do seem to be at their worst when I have my period or am under stress. Or something causes pressure of any kind down there. The doctors think I am just imagining it, so they are useless. I was just wondering if there were any other women out there who have experienced this too and if you have had any luck on fiding out what the cause is and any luck on treating it? In the past 4-5 years I have also gained alot of weight, I used to be 120lbs and I am now 210lbs!

I suggest to quit caffeine and sugar, drink 2 liters per day H2O and get toward a healthier weight for your height (whatever that is, not way down to 120 lbs).

The pressure of the weight on your bladder & UT is detrimental and will continue to worsen as it did for my mom.

She was diagnosed with Int.Cys. and I made an herbal prep for her that cured it. She was afraid of herbs and not confident in me so she went on the meds for years then had surgery. She still won't lose the weight.
Good luck.

It may very well be the weight on your bladder or possibly you have spastic bladder. Do you drink a lot of water, if not start and avoid caffeine and see if that helps and see another doctor.

If I'm dehydrated actually I start to get bladder infection symptoms. It's really strange, but it's my cue to drink a bunch of water. To be on the safe side, when I'm feeling like that, I'll drink some cranberry juice too. I usually stop feeling that way in a few hours - a day tops. I don't know if it would have turned into an infection and I just feel the warning signs, or if I just get discomfort that never would have turned into anything anyhow. I don't like to take chances, so I do what I can.
