Back in a politics course, a girl at the uni wanted to buy me a beer once after I finished a tiiiiny group assignment on my own. I said I don't drink. So she offered coffee but I don't drink coffee either. So she said any drink at all and I said, naw, it's fine, it was a really small assignment, I don't need compensation.
Couple months later it hit me that maybe she might have just wanted to ask me out and I was really embarrassed by how insensitive I must have been. :(

Don't think I've used one. I asked my wife if she wanted to go out for a drink and she said No, apparently by mistake. So I was "encouraged" to ask her again and she said "yes".
