Has anyone had to go on holiday with a leg cast up to their thigh and on crutches?

I have had heaps of practice with getting around on crutches but normally I have been able to put some weight on my foot with a cast below my knee. Now it looks like I will have to get a new cast which will go up almost to my groin and i will not be allowed to put any weight on it at all. I am going on holiday on my own for a week and I am thinking this might be really hard work with an enormous cast and my crutches

    It might be a bit tough but it is my annual trip to watch motor racing and I don't want to miss it!
