Has anyone heard of Erich Von Daniken? Read his books? Or watched Acient Aliens on TV? What are your views?

As I'm asking for everyone's opinion on my question, I can't really choose a 'best answer' as we're all entitled to our own opinions. So I've gone for the answer who also represents my own opinion on the above question...

I read several of his books in the 70's. I found them to be interesting. He certainly made a lot of amazing discoveries in his search for answers to the archaelogical riddles. Certainly was ahead of his time.

NANSELTAR	Posted May 21st, 2009 at 12:31PM I have never seen "Ancient Aliens" on telly, but I read a couple of von Daniken's books years ago. His hypotheses are fascinating, but I really felt at the time that he interpreted all of his research with a one-track mind. He was IMHO inclined to interpret things as facts when they were only possibilities. Nonetheless, I am interested in people's ideas and experiences with alien life forms. I'd hate to think we are the only sentient beings in that vast and starry cosmos! Rated: +1Vote for this!
