Has anyone recently applied for a Federal job? Did you find it as agonizing as I did?

First of all, there was only a two-day window of opportunity to apply...as such, I did not have time to get my college transcripts (must send a check, school will not fax or e-mail them)...had to completely revise my resume to include the buzz words and key words so that I could apply based on experience...took forever to find the required forms...the application itself was about 100 questions..taking the civil service exam (which has been eradicated) would have been MUCH less complicated! Are they intentionally trying to weed out the dumb @sses and those with no patience???

WHAT IS UP WITH THAT???

Whew! Thanks for letting me vent...I needed that!

If you really wanted that job you should have played up your Native American heritage.

I do really want the job...I'm hoping all the others who spotted it are dumb ***** and impatient...haha! As for my Native American heritage, I am pale with blonde hair...don't think they would believe me. (Genetics are a funny thing!)
