    Sure, it has helped and it has hurt. The bad thing is that there is more bad than good in the world as we know it to be.

    It has its place. It gets a bad rep because it also pushes us to do bad things but sometimes it's good. There have been times I felt like a situation was unfair or taking advantage of my coworkers/friends/classmates and I but I would have never had the guts to speak up for myself on my own - if they do it as well and encourage me to join in, I feel better about it.

    Also in school, it can motivate me to get a project done because i think "I'll feel embarrassed if I'm the only one who didn't do the assignment"
