Have any of you made friends here at EP? What are some tips for us newbies?

i've been here for almost 2 years now. some of the friends i have here, i couldn't imagine my life without them now. when i first started out, i wrote a couple stories, commented on a LOT of stories...just jumped right in basically! lol you'll find people you have things in common with, etc as far as gaining experiences...i always looked through my friend's experience to see what we had in common and added as i found something.

as far as being a paying member....it's not much different than being a non-paying member. you have access to a few special features (certain gestures, customizing profile, etc)...however, you would be supporting a super awesome site...and they work their @sses off for us! so it's well deserving, but a personal choice :)

write as much as you can, play the caption and quote of the day, enjoy everything EP has to offer...so far most of "My circle" are people that I've met through this portion of EP, The "Answers" area. So just take it all in before you make a decision. I'm not a paying member but I'm enjoying myself all the same. =)

My top tip is to share your story. Browse the Experience groups and join the ones that you feel is you. Say you are tall for example, join the group I am Tall and then share your story about being tall. How easy it is to get into a basketball team perhaps but how it is difficult to get a date.

A lot of people will read and those who sympathize and understand will reach out to you. You'll chat with them, find more things in common and in no time, you'll get friends, real friends! Good luck.

Just utilize every area of this site. The stories and groups are a main way to open up and make friends. PLEASE don't stay in here alot posting nonsensical questions like some people, use EVERY area of the site so that we can all get to know you better.

Also, don't treat this site as an adult hookup zone. If all of your experiences are sexual most people won't add you.

I haven't made any super-close friends yet, but I have met a lot of great people on here that I enjoy talking to.
Just be yourself! Don't be afraid to say what you believe or think.
