Have reached retirement with no pension in place, any ideas,have helped many people in my life.?

There are some places that hire older people. Look around and see what's available and also you should be getting social security retirement benefits since you've paid into the program having worked all those years. And apply for government assistance for your free medical and grocery assistance and Section 8. Good luck.

sadly, I have no answer for you. I am in the same boat. Have worked basically all of my life but have no pension. Should've but my fortune 500 company decided to sell out the working people in the shop and went to two-tiered wages with no pension. After I've given them 9 yrs. now find out I have to work until I'm 70 to get full s.s. benefits. A big whopping $1500.00 a month.

One thing, you can't live the same lifestyle. Even if you keep working well into old age, at some point you will have to stop. Seek a lifestyle that leans toward the self-sufficient. And its not what you make, its what you don't spend. We ourselves are the only guarantees we can count on these days. That's a pretty strong first step.
