I've met several over the years. If you want me to name drop....Oscar De La Hoya, Buster Douglas, Ace Frehley, everyone in L.A. Guns in 1988, everyone in Great White in 1990, Kim Thayil and Chris Cornell (Soundgarden), Andre Agassi (although it was just a quick "what's up" kind of thing at the VIP club bar on top of Mandalay Bay), Mike Patton (Faith No More), Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden's drummer).
The one I had the most interesting conversation with was Mike Farrell (who played B.J. On MASH) at a book signing a few years ago. I brought my kids, who had just watched the entire MASH DVD box set with me, and he and his wife (Shelley Fabares) both talked to us for quite awhile afterwards about a number of things. I could tell they really liked the fact that my kids were so interested, because he mentioned a couple of times how he's not used to seeing kids when he speaks to groups.

Chris Hoy, cyclist. Martyn Bennet, musician. Normal people. Never thought of them as famous at the time.
Captain Mark Philips walked past me when I was washing a chandalier in Gleneagles. He was Princess Anne's old man. I wasn't particularly bothered. I didn't know who he was until it was pointed out. But so what. He had to go up the stairs. As long as he didn't try to re-enact the Ball of Kirriemuir on me crystals.....go on, google it, I dare you ;-)

Mrs. Bush, William Cohen, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Edgar Cayce, Robert David Hall, Bert Jacobs (life is good) and several local politicians if you can consider congressmen and woman celebrities.

will smith...when I was 12 he was hiking in Tucson, AZ. and I was with my dad, and my dad being so cool was like "Hey wat up" and will said "What up man" I was like "OH MY GOD THATS WILL SMITH! DAAAAAD LOOK!" my dad was looking at me like...my kid is a loser. Lol.
