Have you become more optimistic now? Because of what?

All of the above answers are excellent, but I'll add mine anyway. :)

I have a job even though the economy sucks; I am FINALLY able to lose weight, exercise, and be healthy thanks to my personal trainer; I have an amazing boyfriend that loves me; and I realize that God always takes care of me.

I have not become more optomistic, but since my dad died (5 months ago) I have learned to appreciate the little things. My outlook on life and love and pain has definitely shifted.

I am more positive now and I believe it's because I started walking regularly a few weeks ago. It has improved my mood overall, increased my energy and given me a more positive outlook. It's not good to be a couch potato.

i'm more optimistic than i used to be. the only reason i can come up with is my age.

a better word to describe me is a cynic:
"Idealism is what precedes experience; cynicism is what follows." wolf
