Yes-- a couple times. Once for a month in Ireland and Scotland and another time for several weeks through central America (did a lot of hitch-hiking).
Hell yes, I'd do it again!

I used to back pack all the time when I was younger and a Boy Scout. The last few times I been packing as an adult most of the people were into making the experience as easy as possible. Would have had more fun staying home I think.
