I was quite the Sherlock Holmes in "sherlocks last case" and I really nailed it as an intoxicated Ferris in a short from a few years ago whose title I forget.
sound design for five years also, whoot.
Guys n Dolls
Diary of Anne Frank (Mr. Dussel); Midsummer Night's Dream (set crew); Sondheim's Company (set crew); Rainmaker (Bill Starbuck); Key Exchange (don't remember my character's name, it was 20 years ago); I rehearsed Waiting for Godot, but the production folded before opening day
Also, some Christmas play back in 3rd grade
Seems like I am always in acting
All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely pla
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
The wizard of oz when I was younger.. I was a munchkin.. how sad!! LOL
And recently I was in A christmas carol, and I played Scrooge from the past :)
In 9th grade, I played Julisha in our school's version of Romeo and Julisha. (It was a ghetto version, due to 99% of our students being African American).
I have been in
pirates of Penzance
12 Angry Men in Jr. High.
i was in Oliver Twist , ran for 2 weeks, in hollyhead anglesey.
In college, I was in several productions:
Inmate in Marat/Sade
Charlie in Death of a Salesman
Shawn Keogh in Playboy of the Western World
Priest in Sticks and Bones
Pooh in The House at Pooh Corner
Stage Manager for You Can't Take It With You
Lightning for Miracle Worker
Director for Hello, Out There
Oh yeah! Been in several church and school plays. Tons of skits and improv thingies. I've played Melissa in Love Letters, Rhonda in Almost, Maine, Mary in Mary Remembers, the Wicked Witch of the West in a weird sawmill pantomime version of The Wizard of Oz, ran crew for Footloose, and I've been an actor and crew member for several movies, short films, and webseries. I'm constantly refining my skills. Seeing my acting coach and class tonight! :D
I was the captain in "The Sound of Music", the prof. in"MY Fair Lady", Bob in"White Christmas", plus many other characters in various and sundry shows. I am currently Jacob Marley in "A Christmas Carol".
If crew counts, then Musician has to also count, so , yes i have performed many times for musicals.
I was Liesl in the sound of music... "I am sixteen going on seventeen...."
Yes in Elementary School "Twas The Night Before Christmas" and I still remember all the words that we sung in our song...this was proven when a friend of mine who was also in the play got together with our spouses and children and we sung it back to them word for word note for note...somethings you just don't forget.
An Indian (native Amer) in Calamity Jane
I can't remember all of the plays that I have been involved in. "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to The Forum., 'Crossing Delancey," "Fools," "Plaza Suite," ad nauseum. I was a member of an improvsational comedy group for a few years. We performed anywhere any time. I so very much miss the laughter and general feedback from an audience. There are no roles for which I might audition due to my age.
I was brought up in an acting family my mother is 80 and still acts. She had a 3 page monolog she worked on for 3 months over and over. He memory use to be very very good. Now it takes much work. She does say there are very few parts for her now however. You just have to keep your finger into see when a part comes up.
Charlie and the chocolate factory, velveteen rabbit, school plays, tv shows and one shitstorm pilot that failed
