to a collection agency? don't pay those bottom feeders a dime. if you are going to pay the bill make payments to the original debtors, and refuse all contact with Collectors. it is bad enough that these agencies are owned by lawyers and doctors, but they have employees that are overworked and underpaid. We all should do everything we can to obliterate that industry, an industry that is well below that of pawn shops.

I have, once...about 12 years ago, I was pregnant (about 4 mths along) and I was on my way to work....once there, I had really bad cramps...I got scared and called my boss at home...she called the ambulance even though I didn't want her to.....I just wanted to know how to get to the hospital....anyway, they showed up, and strapped me in....against my refusals....said they had to, because they had been called, they had to take me in....
I tried to fight that bill.....tried for a long time.....with no success....once it hit the collection agency, I gave up and paid it....not worth ruining my credit over....
It still annoys me that I had to pay for an ambulance, when I did not want it, I refused their help...I tried to fight even getting into it....ugh!!Like (1)
