My dad said a prayer before we started about my deceased mother so I was sick to my stomach with stress and couldn't eat that much.

Yes as I am home sick with the flu today and the sight of a bunch of food might make me feel worse. I cannot taste much today anyhow with the congestion in my head. I feel your pain.

I was sick with a terrible flu one year. Oh, hope you feel better. Sucks being sick on Thanksgiving.

Yes. Last year my boyfriend was laid off the day before Thanksgiving. I had also just started on a new birth control pill that week, so from a combination of side effects and nerves I was incredibly nauseous the whole weekend. It was so bad I couldn't even stand up. He didn't feel well either, his was nerves, shock, and disappointment. Poor dear. :(
