Resolved Question

Have you ever defaulted on your credit card?

What were the consequences, if any? Please, no "you should pay your debt" snide remarks - the fucking banks should NOT reward customers like me who faithfully paid every payment on time as asked for YEARS by DOUBLING their previously agreed interest rate unilaterally because the whore politicians allow it by the laws they wrote. We have the best government money can buy, and like they say "When in Rome do as the Romans do". You cheat, I cheat!!!!!

Yes I have and will probably do it again. Actually before I married 20+ years ago and over the passed year when I was separated from my husband and got a few cards in my name only. It's not penny anty stuff either. My credit rating is in the toilet but my sister told me after being married and divorced so many times that she just gets credit using her current husband's name. So as a woman I shouldn't sweat it.

No.
I am inclined to use my credit card now as a "last resort back-up", and try to keep paying more than the required repayments until paid off.

Until a few years ago, I used a debit card; but now I am low on "money in the bank", its useful to have an emergency source, to use with great discretion.

I pay my credit card off completely every month, and I'm a college student. According to the media, I don't exist.
