Fishsweeper is right, it tastes like mahi mahi, which is basically our tuna. I worked a fishing boat while on Maui and we sometimes caught dolphin by mistake. If it was in a condition where we couldn't release it safely, we'd keep the catch. It was never an intentional catch for us

Delicious! I just had dolphin for lunch, blackened and on top of salad and with gorgonzola. I think our dolphin is not the dolphins that you see playing around the ocean but they are prob mahi-mahi.

Unfortunately, dolphin meat is sometimes passed off for Mahi-Mahi.
