My mom used to prepare some once in a while (french recipe). It has definitely an odor, and a specific taste but I quite like it.<br />

My dad cooks tripe at least twice a month. It makes the whole house smell quite terribly awful. Like a mixture of urine and stagnant water. Maybe he cooks it improperly, but due to the smell, I was never interested in tasting it myself.
