True love is an exceptionally strong commitment of your heart & soul. Very difficult in a long distance situation, but perhaps not impossible. For me, I care deeply about another person I've met on EP. I've never met her in person, but I suspect if I ever did I would fall for her in a instant!

I could become very fond of someone but love is saved for real life for me. It would be possible to start a relationship online but for love to develop I would need to see and hear the person.

It depends on what is meant by fallen in love with someone you've never even met in real life... if you have seen them online and video chatted or spoken on the phone. And even if you have emailed for months over some time. I would have to say Yes. I say yes because what some people do not realize is that love is a feeling it has nothing to do with how someone looks. It is how they make you feel about them and about yourself. Now it can be confirmed by meeting in person but yes you can fall in love with someone or you can develop strong feeling for them. But it of course would need to be confirmed in person. : ) Oh! by the way... yes I have develop strong feeling for someone before meeting them after video chatting online, through emails, and phone calls. : ) It is quite lovely.

I guess it would depend on the 2 people and their persona. If they could be so into each other without physical contact or seeing each other for real then there is a chance but they would need to 100% truthful about themselves to each other so that when they do eventually end up together for real there is no surprises!

A strong crush. personally. During family history research I found that my Great Gran on my dad's side was called Elizabeth Ann.
I thought that was such a lovely name, that she must have been a really kind and loving lady! Maybe not so, but I 'fell in love' with that name and would have named a daughter after her if I had had one.

No. I don't think that would be possible for someone like me. Not all the way in love, that is. I think that all I could manage in that case is a fairly strong crush.
