Snap! I once had a $20.00 note blow up to me on the footpath. I picked it up and looked around but couldn't see anyone who could have dropped it. I felt sad for whoever must have lost it because that was a lot of money, the most I've ever found.
Eventually I did spend it. I bought a foot pedal for my sewing machine and sewed a lot of clothes for the kids with that. You could say that $20.00 note dressed my kids that winter.Like (2)

60 dollars in 3 folded 20s on the bus and a 5 dollar bill at the train station sitting in the grass on a sunny day with people standing around all on their cell phones and a 2 dollar coin a tooney in front of some shops on the sidewalk , of course these all were at different times

Well once at school I was running the mile, and when I finished I just collapsed on the floor.. I looked to my side and there was a 20 dollar bill. I guess that was my reward for running that stupid mile.

I have found money multiple times. A twenties and a fifty sticking out of snowbanks and in a bush.
Back in the late seventies I found a wallet with over $600 in it, I returned it to the owner.Like (2)

When I was at university I realised that there was a particular patch of grass near the bar that was often ripe with coins that had fallen out of people's pockets the night before. I'd grab a coffee, sit down and, without needing to scavenge, could easily pick up a tenner's worth of change. A handy discovery indeed.

$100 bill in my garage. The previous owner was a drug dealer.
