    My doctors have recommended one to fix a severely deviated septum, but I haven't agreed (yet).

    Yes, in a few ways. First, my left side is usually mostly obstructed. Second, because my sinuses don't drain, I have frequent sinusitis. Third, because of the chronic rhinitis, there is chronic inflammation that obstruct the airflow. I have spoken with several people who have had the rhinoplasty to correct this. Half of them tell me that it makes all the difference in the world. Half of them tell me that it makes no difference whatsoever. All of them tell me that the recovery is far worse than they anticipated.
