I had just the reverse happen. Went from 4 10 hour days to 5 , 10 hr days. Then they said that we needed to work on Saturdays 8 hours that went on for a few weeks then they started to schedule in 6 hours on Sunday's. That was 64 hours a week for about a month. The checks were great. But we were killing ourselves during that time .<br />
It took a long time after that to start feeling rested and back to normal.
amazing! what kind of industry?
I did not stay there for long. It was a warehouse supply company for a nationally known brand. There was zero family / work balance. They could not give a damn about your family life or needs.
i hear you...
That is a huge change. I think they are trying to avoid unemployment costs. I would go talk to them about getting unemployment.
Look for something that suits you better and where you'll be appreciated more.
that sucks, this is why unions are good
