Have you ever left your computer on purposely to wait for someone to come on so you could IM them?

Have done it and I'm doing it right now.

Now that I think about it, I wasn't waiting online to IM them, but rather waiting online to make myself available in case that person comes on and wants to talk to me....or to wait and see what sort of away message that person puts up. This was back in college when everyone I know used away messages to say what bar or party they'd go to that night. Rated: +1Vote for this!
