Yes----------
I was very much in love with my girlfriend. I am a lesbian, but years ago when people were not out of the closet like many are now, I ended up getting married to a man. A very nice and proper man. Only because society was different then, I just knew that by setting her free it would maybe make her a happier person than living a dream that at that time did not seem very likely.
I know now---that if the cituation was today I would have followed my heart and stayed with her.
Then we both would have been truley happy!!

yes my gf broke up with me about 3 months ago but still calls an texts everytime i start to get over her she tries to get in touch with me i finally told her to stop.

I've heard this alot.. a friend of mine had a gf who was an alcoholic, but she just couldn't admit it, or get help. It was causing him alot of trouble, he would take sick days at work to take care of her, his social life went down hill cos of her, he got depressed.. So he had to let her go.. now she realises that her problems aren't just harmful to her, but others around who love her.. it is emotionally painful for them... She is getting professional help now.
