Have you ever missed out on the chance of a lifetime?

Back in the early '70's just before I married for the first time, my fiance and I went to look at a condominium apartment to purchase. The price we would have had to pay per month was $15 more per month than the rent we were looking at. I was very gung ho about it, but my fiance said it was too much and we couldn't afford it. The salesman was practically begging us to buy it because he told us the prices would go up soon. Go up?!?! They SOARED! If we had purchased that apartment, we would have been able to sell it within the year and more than tripled our money. The beginning of my disillusionment with husbands (despite the fact I married twice more - fool that I am!)

Sure did. Missed out on the chance to have a lifetime full of misery and pain with each of my exes. Thank goodness for giving up!

But I've taken a lot off good chances as well.
I think it evens out.

Yap, I missed out big time!!...but it doesn't matter anymore, wouldn't be where I am today!
