Unfortunately not, way too complicated for us rookies, we played a selfmade (by me) RPG ba<x>sed on the Microlite20 system, that's a bit easier to handle for beginners.<br />
We had a blast though, my friends were pretty creative at times... it's hard to shut your mouth as a GM though: sometimes I really had the urge to shout: "come on! why do you don't think of that possibility?!". :-p
I didn't. :-D I just giggled behind my GM-screen about all their obvious misses.
It was a lot of fun but eventually became too much work.
Yes, thirty years ago. It was okay, but I prefer the Sci-fi version called "Traveler".
It was fun and the universe was more varied than D&D. I liked exploring planets and meeting aliens.
