Have you ever realized that partying doesn't make you happy anymore?

I party a lot before.. beers, getting wasted, flings, dancing w/ guys, dares, clubbin etc.
It was fun. But as i get older, well i'm just 23, I'm getting sick of it.
It's like i wanna get serious, have a real relationship, achieve my dreams, help poor people, etc. It makes me lonely sometimes. =P

Partying should be something that's done to CELEBRATE something.

Going out for the sake of it, every weekend, why? You're doing it just because everyone else is too, where's your individuality? Why are you hopping onto the bandwagon of what society makes you feel you HAVE to do? Why are you doing it? To have fun? Ask yourself, is it really fun?

I only party when, as mentioned, there's something to party for. You save money for one thing.

But the thing with partying is, the drama afterwards, drink fuelled drama, is it worth it? People looking like a mess, screaming at each other, everyone leaves feeling awkward. Is this really the "fun" that people feel they HAVE to do every week?

For sure, I feel the same im 23 also. Iv drank myself sick enough. Iv kinda become more of a loner because of how I live now. I work out a lot more and save money and am trying to learn a few instruments. I didnt party much in HS but 2 years of drinking and bar hopping has lost its touch for me. You are not alone haha

I'm 24 and yes, this hit me square in the face, too. Partying and getting drunk is so old. So is hooking up with random guys. I now stick to closer friends and date more seriously (even if the guys don't like it haha)
