I don't know with full certainty if any of the people whose lives I may have saved would have died if not for my involvement with various incidents, but I have to say I have removed several people from highly fatal situations. Also I used to drive a School Bus in the winter in Maine, so I guess just being good at my job probably saved some lives, who knows. I mean, if you start thinking about causality, any actions may have saved lives and you didn't even know it. Of course, you have to look at both sides of that coin.

Yes, 2 people. My mum ad a friend of mine. When I was 6 my collapsed to the floor when I asked her to get me a drink, she had a hemridge. I saved my friends life in a weird way, we were messing around and i jumped on his back and he broke his leg. I got a lot of grief from it. The thing is he found out he had bone cancer. People kept saying that i gave him cancer, some people are too thick to realise you can't give someone cancer.

Yes, I was in the volunteer fire dept. and one night i responded to a fire call close to my house. i actually had to pass the house to get to the station. But i stopped when the man out front waved frantically at my flashing lights. I had my gear in my trunk and he was screaming he couldn't get to his wife. She had been sleeping upstairs and he fell asleep on the couch with a lit cig. He tried to put it out but it got too big and before he could wake his wife he had to get out of the house. I went to the second floor through the front door which was thick with smoke and was able to get her out of bed and get her out the window before any trucks arrived. I did not have an airpack and breathed in a bit of smoke myself but bailed out the window too. We both got a ride to the hospital where she was treated and released the next day. i went home that night. I am lucky my training helped me and I was able to find her so quickly. But without question all the men and woman in my department and others are truly lifesavers as they respond to calls night and day to help their neighbors without pay!
