Yes, I live in the country, we can see the stars so cleara that we see falling stars all the time. And yes I have seen an unidentified Flying object one time about 23 years ago. I was with a friend. I seriously stood in disbelief and he got excited and said, whoa! Do you see that? It was close, very quiet, had lights all around it, and shot off into the sky faster then the speed of light. Neither one of us really spoke about it again. Scared to tell anyone, was afraid no-one would believe us. No- was not on drugs or drinking anything. Now, years later, I do wonder what it was. It was the strangest thing I have ever seen.

My Daddy and his brother were both about 16-17 and were riding their bikes and set down for a few minutes. He SWEARS that they both saw something that had bright lights in the sky, then turned several different colors, then it came down, then shot STRAIGHT UP SO FAST and out of their eyes in a split second! They were mesmerized!!!!

I saw Halley's comet with my telescope in 1986, and often saw unidentified satellites passing through the night sky. Meteors appear on occasion. My brother and I saw the Aurora Borealis at Jones Beach in Long Island in the early 70s.

As part of my "get happy" thing I used to do a lot of things in and around Ft. Lauderdale so one night between the hours of 12:30 and 1:00 am I was headed home on I-95 headed south and watching the road when I see "something" that left a florescent green streak behind it making this impossible flight maneuver that ended up as a perfect triangle when it was finished and this was all done in a matter of seconds like as fast as you can count "one two three". There was also another smaller "comma" shaped ufo with a corkscrew tail about the color of a sodium streetlamp that made this lazy "j" flight pattern into the bottom middle of the triangle.

After the comma ufo did it's thing the "trail" started to follow itself back the way it came which was from "right to left" and at the same speed until both it and the comma had just disappeared like it was never even there. Then about three nights later I was traveling home on the same highway at about the same time when I see what looked like a set of "helicopter blades" again florescent green, rotating at full speed that appeared to be coming out of a hole in the sky with two more of the comma ufo on either side of it traveling perpendicular like it was escorting this thing. They were all in full view for about a second and a half then it disappeared into another "hole" straight ahead of it and, gone again.

Then two nights after that at about 2:00 a.m. I'm getting out of my car in the parking lot of where I was living at the time and I'm looking up when I see another single comma ufo going straight up and disappearing into the night sky. I finally asked my mother who watched the local news a lot if she had heard anything, and she said that she had but that it was just reported in a typical news reporter fashion that it was "Santa Clause" of course. I feel sure that I was seeing these craft in the process of making a dimensional jump I am also confident that what I had seen was the real deal and not some odd weather phenomena as the result of the cool, clear and crisp weather we were having at the time.

So after reading the stories and descriptions I can definitely say "Yes we are being visited" and I feel certain that the government has evidence that they are sitting on for one reason or another and that I'm not expecting them to own up to anything anytime soon.

Yes last week i went to my back door, opened it and at that very moment a commet hit the atmosphere and gave a visual rhapsody of wonderment right there in front of my eyes. So unusual and breifly eyecatching that it was reported on in current affairs programs. Only appeared for about two and a half seconds too!

I had the same exact experience as Denabob but I was driving my new open top car on a country road in WV. I saw a lightbeam on the dashboard and thought it was a helicopter but it had no sound. I stopped the car to look up.... and the object hovered above me then went straight up without a sound and faster than any airplane. To this day I can only guess what it was. My theory is (because of it's speed) it was a time machine from the future checking up on us. Of course my friends call me crazy.

Hale Bopp whenever that was in the 1990's, saw that with the naked eye. Haley's Comet was able to view that through a telescope in college. Numerous falling stars over the years, sometimes the northern lights when they are active

Yes! I remember getting home late one night and glancing at the eastern sky as I got out of my car. There was a deep red firey blaze that was just a quick flash.
I heard later that it was a dissipating asteroid- not kidding!
I've also seen the northern lights as well as shooting stars many times, as I live in the country.

Yes, it will forever be in my memory because it was truly unidentifiable. I remember seeing it and just froze...I froze and called my mom over. She saw the look on my face, came over immediately and looked up...it darted off in a very odd way. I always feel silly talking about it, however if you ask me my thoughts on if there is intelligent life, the answer is 'of course', it's ignorant for us to think that there isn't. By the way, it looked like a ball of light...but the way it flew in was unlike anything I had ever seen. My mom was stunned too.

You mean like a UFO? My husband and I were backpacking high in the Sierra's and saw a triangle moving very high across the sky. It wasn't a plane (too high) and what ws very odd was that it wasn't moving forward in a way that it a pointy end was in the lead. (Not sure who to describe it, but if you envision a triangle, imagine it moving a direction with a flat spot - not a pointy part - in the lead.) Someone suggested it might be the space shuttle on re-entry since it tends to go in tail first, but I don't know if that's what it was.
