Have you ever sent flowers to yourself?

It's at the top of my to-do list just as soon as I read my obituary.

i've not done so but one year i was working at this company with all these horrible people and my dad sent me flowers on valentine's day because i was single and he wanted to make sure that i got better flowers than all the beeyatchy girls at work!!!

Have never sent them......But I do buy them for myself.....That is the only way i get them.....Has been almost 10 years since my husband had brought me flowers

I haven't sent flowers to anyone before, but I do buy them for myself and for other people. I usually don't get flowers unless it's a special occasion, but getting flowers or a little gift 'just because' is what I like the most. So even if no one else is giving me flowers I will go out and buy some for myself 'just because'.
I also think having some fresh flowers in a room helps to brighten and liven up the whole room. Everyone always comments on the flowers and it's nice to have some beautiful flowers sitting next to your bed so you can look at them right when you wake up.

I prefer potted plants though because they last longer and are still living unlike cut flowers that are actually slowly dieing right in front of you.

I "anonymously" sent myself some gorgeous flowers once to make a guy very jealous and a little threatened. It worked and the flowers were beautiful! It was a win/win.

No, I haven't...but I love to receive flowers....I am a firm believer in treating yourself to things you really enjoy.....After all, we are responsible for our own happiness.

No but I think its a great idea... not just to make someone else jealous though. You could pick a random date in the future and order flowers to be delivered to yourself on that date. It's likely you would forget and would get a great surprise/ pick me up on that date!
Or, even nicer, send them randomly to someone else...! :)

Costa a lot...Much easier is to gather some wildflowers and green branches and whatnot, get a nice cheap old bottle and presto, you have FLOWERS!!!

It's tradition at a show that actors get flowers sent to them by lovers, friends, and family. I never got them though, and I'm too proud to admit that not being a part of the tradition hurts.

I agree with your opinion that we should love oneself, that's very optimistic ;)
I show myself "love" in other ways; having good massage, giving myself reward when I could achieve something, traveling on holidays with annual bonus after whole year hard work Lol !

Anything that make you happy and not bother others is considered ! :)

No, I have bought flowers for myself. I love to have fresh flower arrangements in my house. But I have never sent flowers to myself. I have never been that desperate.
