Being, existing compared to ...not.
After some thought (and not) there is no obvious reason as to why we (read as "anything")should exist.

There is (literally) no reason for Anything.

Trying to leave religion aside and paraphrasing, Buddha said that this was the "thusness". Search for a meaning to "life" (again read as Anything) and you will eventually reach the "thus" stage. In modern terms: "things just are"...which when you get down to it - extremely profound. Which is why Buddha would begin sermons with "Since beginningless time".

Wow, yes I have. I have also been able to hold on to the thought and study it. I think about how I didn't turn out in Aisia or Canada or as some hobo. One time I even thought of how I wasn't a frog! I also thougt about how life rolls out a little more every day. Or how everyone make super-tiny desicions every day wich may change your life as it keeps turning into bigger descions.I am a very deep thinker. :)

consider the odds at the beginning of time, 14 billion years ago, that you would be here to consider this question and have these exact people answer it. What would you give, infinity to one at that time? Obviously, the size of the bet is unimportant, as anything times infinity is infinity, but the point is, wait a minute..where's my bong?

I used to sit still, but not thinking how weird it is that the world exist, but thinking how weird it is that human beings don't learn to know and to love God, their Creator.

Only more times that I can count. Setting aside religous views on earth's exsitence, I wonder how did all this form. Where did we come from, how did we get here, and what is there for us after we are gone? If there really is a god...where did the being come from? I don't have the answers to theses questions. What I do know that the exsistence of earth and mankind is extrodinary.

Yes, I have I often look at Nature and imaning I'm seeing it for the first time...Humbling to say the least...
